₹100 Cr MD Drugs Factory Demolished in Jhunjhunu; Rajasthan Police Use Bulldozers

Police on Wednesday bulldozed an illegal MD drugs manufacturing unit operating in Jhunjhunu, two days after it was exposed during a raid by the Maharashtra Police Anti-Narcotics Cell.
During the raid, officials seized chemicals, machinery and nearly 10 kg of MD drugs from the site. The total value of the recovered items has been estimated at around ₹100 crore.
Following the operation, Jhunjhunu police used bulldozers to demolish the storage facility and machinery rooms set up inside a poultry farm, effectively dismantling the entire drug manufacturing infrastructure.
Operated factory at uncle's poultry farm
According to information, Anil (31) was running this factory in Nand Ka Bas in the Dhanuri police station area. Maharashtra Police's Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) and Jhunjhunu police arrested him in a joint operation. Anil Sihag is a 12th pass and does farming.
Anil had been working at his uncle Suresh Sihag's poultry farm since 2016-17. About 15 days ago, he started making drugs here with his associate, Subhash Jat. They had also installed several machines here. There was also storage of dangerous chemicals here.
