Rohit Shetty Calls Dhurandhar a ‘Monster’, Hails It as New Hindi Cinema

Rohit Shetty on Friday dedicated a post to Dhurandhar, calling it a "new cinema". He wrote a long post on Instagram, appreciating the entire team of the film, beginning his praise with Ranveer Singh and Askhaye Khanna. Shetty congratulated Aditya Dhar on his incredible journey from Uri: The Surgical Strike to the success of Dhurandhar.

He wrote, "Take a bow Aditya Dhar and team... you have created a monster... Ranveer mere bhai...'Apna time aa gaya'... Happy to see Akshaye getting the love and respect as an actor he deserved for years... (sic)."
Shetty recalled the moment he watched Uri with Dhar. "Aditya still remember the night before URI released when we all were together watching the film... your journey from URI to Dhurandhar as a producer and director is inspiring... (sic)," he said.
