The yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi's cave shrine has been temporarily suspended due to the season's first snowfall in the Trikuta Hills and incessant rains. Authorities have halted fresh batches of pilgrims and recalled those en route, prioritizing safety. Helicopter services are also grounded. The suspension is precautionary, with services to resume once weather conditions permit.
