Gucci Play Returns: Iconic Bangle Watch Gets 2025 Makeover

Gucci Play Returns: Iconic Bangle Watch Gets 2025 Makeover
All the fashion-forward girlies out there, if vintage is your style game, you might want to get your hands on the all new Gucci Play watch, the bangle watch that once let owners swap bezels like mood rings. The watch has stayed in demand even after it was discontinued, thanks to the surge in vintage fever among younger buyers on social media and resale platforms.

It has now returned, and of course, with some tweaks. What started decades ago as a playful fashion watch has come back with a more refined build: ceramic bezels, a sturdier bangle, and a sleeker 28mm case. The look is still fun and colourful, but the upgrade makes it feel grown-up, durable, and ready for everyday wear.

It is powered by a quartz movement, and the accessory is defined by a gold-toned bangle and a white dial enriched with symbols of the House. It comes with seven interchangeable ceramic bezels and a yellow-gold bangle.

Originally launched in the mid-1980s as the Gucci 11/12, named for its bangle-style bracelet design, it is now priced at $2,700 (Rs 2,43,968).
