The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections witnessed a fairly strong presence of Bollywood celebrities, with many well-known faces stepping out to cast their votes. However, the civic exercise also saw several prominent film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, and Abhishek Bachchan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan also appeared to have skipped voting, as did Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family missing from the polling booths this time.
