Jaya Bachchan rarely gives interviews, but when she does, she is completely candid and shares her thoughts unabashedly. The same happened during her recent interaction on Mojo Story, where she spoke about her marriage with Amitabh Bachchan, why she finds the institution of marriage outdated, and her advice to her granddaughter and Shweta Bachchan’s daughter, Navya Naveli Nanda.

‘I don’t want Navya to get married.’

During the interaction, Jaya was asked about the institution of marriage and whether she finds it outdated. Responding to the same, she said, “Yes, absolutely. I am a grandmother now, Navya turns 28 in a few days.
