Playing Rehman Dakait in the film, Akshaye’s performance in the Fa9la song made him the national crush, landing him in memes. The film, which opened at Rs 28 crore, witnessed extraordinary footfalls in its second weekend. It earned Rs 32.5 crore on its second Friday, followed by Rs 53 crore on Saturday and Rs 58 crore on Sunday. The momentum continued into the weekdays, with the film collecting Rs 30 crore each on its second Monday and Tuesday, taking its total India net collection to Rs 411 crore.

Such phenomenal second-week numbers have not been seen even in Hindi cinema’s biggest blockbusters, including Dangal and Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback films Jawan and Pathaan.
